2 - 3 patties Gardein - "chicken" flavor
Teriyaki Sauce
Oil for sautéing
For the Salad add:
2 cups Spinach
Sesame Ginger Dresseing (or the dressing of your choice)
Avocadoes, tomatoes and other vegetables of your choice
This is about as easy as it gets. The gardein patties are high in protein and are available in many health food stores like Whole Foods Markets, Fresh and Easy, Trader Joe's and other stores. Check out the product site at www.gardein.com for more information.
They are pre-cooked (and come complete with grill lines!) so you just have to saute them on each side in a little oil and Teriyaki sauce for about three minutes until they are slightly browned.
Great as a stand alone dish, on a salad, or on a sandwich.
