Very inspirational and informative site run by a woman who had an amazing health transformation after switching to a vegetarian diet. Quote from Donna, who founded the site: "Sister Vegetarian is a blog of encouragement for sisters to take back our health. What encouraged me to start Sister Vegetarian is from my own experience of taking back my health which can be read under "Don't Believe the Hype;" and, listening to our African American sisters say that they do not eat healthy because eating healthy means buying expensive organic foods. I say to you. Don't believe the hype, and the myth. Eating healthy is inexpensive on our purses, and in the long run inexpensive on medical bills." I totally agree!
